Harringay, N4

This property originally had the depth but not the width needed for the current owners to completely enjoy their kitchen/dining area the way they wanted to. We were commissioned to extend the property as much as reasonably possible given the small rear garden space. Block planning suggested a side infill extension in order to increase the circulation space around the kitchen and to allow a small desk to be inserted for home working needs. Planning permission was granted by Haringey Council without any objections or revisions to the design being needed. The extensive use of glazing both internally and externally mitigated the loss of an original bay window
